Park Hill Presbyterian to honor Bordelon

A reception honoring Whitney Singleton Bordelon will be held immediately following the 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday, July 20, at Park Hill Presbyterian Church, 3520 John F. Kennedy Blvd., in North Little Rock.

Bordelon, who has served as the church’s director of Christian education and youth since May of 2005, is leaving to become a public school teacher.

While at the Park Hill congregation, Bordelon has led the church’s Sunday school program, vacation Bible schools, children’s and youth ministries. She also during her tenure there served for a time as the staff resource for youth ministry for the Presbytery of Arkansas, the church’s regional organization.

Sunday school classes for all ages begin at the church at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.

The congregation’s annual Vacation Bible School is set for 5:30 p.m. each evening Sunday through Wednesday, August 3-6.

Area residents are cordially invited to attend. For more information, please call the church office at 753-9533.
