North Little Rock Community Concert Band to perform June 7

The North Little Rock Community Concert Band will continue its 2013 season with a performance on Friday, June 7, at the Lakewood Village amphitheater. Music Director Rico Belotti will strike up the band at 7 p.m. for an hour-long collection of tunes he calls “A Little Outdoor Music.” Included in the program by the all volunteer wind band will be “In Storm and Sunshine,” “Thunder and Lightning,” “Stormchasers,” “Semper Fidelis,” Selections from “The Music Man,” “the Peanut Vendor,” “A Celebration of Spirituals,” and “Classic Rock N’ Roll,” plus a surprise or two. The concert is family friendly and free and lawn chairs or blankets are encouraged. Lakewood Village can be found on McCain Boulevard between McCain Mall and North Hills Boulevard.
