NLR Red Hat Ladies recognize June 15 as International Hoot Day

June 15 is to be recognized as International Hoot Day, according to Faith C. Burke, queen of the North Little Rock Chapter of the Arkansas Red Hat Society Ladies.

“All this means is that Red Hat Ladies from all over the world will be meeting at a designated location within their cities to spread the spirit and friendship of being a Red Hat Lady, said Burke.

Burke said the local chapter is planning to meet on that day at 10 a.m. In the Lakewood Village’s pavilion.

“This is going to be a Hoot celebration,” Burke said. “We will meet, greet, share stories of our chapters, maybe have some music and door prizes, and then go for lunch. We will also let red and purple balloons fly off.”

Burke added, “ We Red Hat Ladies just enjoy life and Live, Love, and Laugh daily.”

Anyone needing more information should contact Burke at 753-8672.
