Martin to be featured on Tuesday’s Tales

Writer Philip Martin will be the featured storyteller on Tales from the South’s Tin Roof next Tuesday. The live taping of the radio series will be at Starving Artist Café in the Argenta Arts District, Downtown North Little Rock.

Live music will be provided by The Salty Dogs and the doors will open at 5 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Philip Martin is a columnist, editor and the chief film critic at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He is the author of the essay collections The Artificial Southerner and The Shortstop’s Son, and co-author, with Rex Nelson, of the Hillary Clinton biography The Hillary Factor.

This show will air on KUAR (89.1) in Central Arkansas on Thursday, July 4, at 7 p.m.
