The Arkansas College of Barbering and Hair Design, 200 E. Washington St., North Little Rock, presented the 11th annual “Cutting Back 2 Class” event on Aug. 18.

According to Ivan Hardamon, a spokesman for the event, ”While many of our children seldom worry about this time of year, there are still others who face the financial challenges associated with back to school purchases.”

The Cut-N-Back-2-Class summer initiative provides free haircuts and school supplies to children in our community.

“This generous gesture boosts the confidence of our students, as they are able to join their peers in the worry free excitement of preparing for school,” said Hardamon.
