Several locals will be among the fields for the Arkansas State Golf Association Junior Match Play Championships when they are contested next week at Eagle Hill Golf and Athletic Club in Little Rock.

“Strong field for both divisions,” said Stephanie Hopkins of Maumelle, director of junior/women’s golf for the ASGA. “This tournament will determine the top four boys and girls in points who will attend the second annual Southern Junior Cup held this year in Mississippi.”

The boys field will include Logan Joseph, Caleb Kubacak, Cole Pangburn and Ryan Spurlock of Maumelle; Cain Gunnett and Peyton Herald of Sherwood and Austin Bowen of North Little Rock. At press time, 51 boys had registered.

Fourteen girls had entered the event, including three local girls: Taylor Loeb and Allie Weiner of Maumelle and Hannah Bakalekos of Sherwood.
