Central Arkansas Christian’s baseball team is in the midst of a busy week as the Mustangs try to secure a high seed for the 7-4A District Tournament later this month.

Ryan Stauder’s Mustangs opened the week 8-8 overall but a more important 5-1 in conference play. They beat Bauxite, 8-4, and Malvern, 3-2, for their last two conference games, although they fell to Harding Academy in a non-conference match, 13-3, last week.

The Mustangs faced Little Rock Catholic on Monday and traveled to Lonoke on Tuesday. They are set to play host to Ashdown for a return to conference play on Thursday, then step out of league play at Little Rock Central on Saturday and at home against Vilonia on Monday, April 22, and Little Rock Christian on Tuesday, April 23.

The 7-4A District Tournament will be played at Ashdown April 24-29.
