Fire knocks out power in Maumelle

Tuesday afternoon, Maumelle firefighters extinguished a burning utility pole in city’s industrial park, which allowed the restoration of power to a large number of Maumelle residents.

The city choose to use the smaller bins and operate the program in-house rather than to pay an outside vendor to bring in larger 52-gallon bins on rollers.
