There are many ways Maumelle friends and well-wishers can help Chad and his family during this difficult time.
A Chad Cox Medical Benefit account has been established at the U.S. Bank in Maumelle and donations can be mailed or dropped off at the Maumelle or any U.S. Bank location to help the family with there medical expenses.
Team Chad is a campaign started by Angie Pennington and several other family friends to help show support for the youngster and to make it easy for anyone to help out.
Pennington said, “Team Chad has an on-line store where you can purchase t-shirts, bracelets and bandannas, you can also make a donation to the family. You can find it at www.lasterdaytees.com.”
“Team Chad was created on Halloween, when he and two of his friends, Abbie and McKenzie, were having a hard time deciding what they wanted to dress up as. It was mentioned ‘We should just go as Team Chad’. McKenzie’s dad, Shane Pennington, took three plain white t-shirts and a green magic marker and made simple ‘Team Chad’ t-shirts. It advanced from there with professional created t-shirts and a Facebook page that is going viral; Facebook.com/pages/team-CHAD-strike-out-lymphoma. Team chad is here to fight with him and carry him through the tough times!”
