Incidents reported to the Maumelle Police Department through June 25:

Incidents

Kroger reported on June 17 that they had found a forged $1 bill. It was recovered and placed into evidence.

William Davis reported on June 17 that his vehicle had been damaged but was unsure of when or where it happened. The vehicle had been “scraped” on the passenger side and a mirror was loose.

Haley Knight reported on June 19 that someone had broken into her home while she was there. The front door had been kicked in and when he realized that someone was home, he fled the scene without taking anything. Knight said she been asleep when she heard the door bell ring and when no one answered, the door was then kicked in. Police were unable to locate the subject and detectives arrived to process the scene.

Gregory Kirsch reported on June 21 that someone had taken his laptop, a laptop bag and a checkbook from where he had left them on the porch of his home. The missing items had been left there for most of the day while Kirsch was out and when he returned, he was unable to find them.

Aimee Galbraith reported on June 23 that a back door had been kicked in and her possibly burglarized while she had been traveling out of the country. The door had been fixed and Galbraith said she suspected her estranged husband. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Richard Lewis of Richard Lewis Dentistry reported on June 23 that Kelli Lynn Silor, 47, Maumelle had admitted to taking $20,000 from his business and that she had been altering bank statements.

Arrests

Shawn Williams, 19, North Little Rock, was arrested on June 18 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Williams had been pulled over for a traffic violation and told police of the marijuana and glass pipe in his possession. He was cited and released.

Bryan Childers, 47, Conway, was arrested on June 6 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Childers was a passenger in a vehicle that had been pulled over for a traffic violation. After admitting to having a knife in his pocket, he then admitted to having marijuana also in his pocket. Police also found a pipe in his possession. Childers was cited and released with a court date.

Jeff Holland, 35, North Little Rock, was arrested on June 15 for careless driving and DWI. His Ford Mustang was also impounded. The vehicle had been seen weaving and officers noticed a case of Bud Light Platinum in the car. Holland failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He was later released with a court date to a responsible party.

Marcus Saxton, 19, Little Rock, turned himself in on June 19 for an active warrant. He was released with a court date of Aug. 12.

Demetrius Stubbs, 43, Conway, turned himself in on June 19 for an active warrant. He was released with a court date of Aug. 12. He also paid all outstanding fines in full to the on-duty dispatcher before leaving.

Steven Wade, 25, North Little Rock, turned himself in on June 19 for an active warrant. He was released with a court date of Aug. 12.

Alexander Holthoff, 23, Mabelvale, was arrested on June 19 for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Holthoff was pulled over for a traffic violation and police officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Holthoff was arrested and taken to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility in Little Rock to await court.

Mark Bettis, 43, Little Rock, was arrested on June 22 for domestic battery, a misdemeanor at the Waffle House. Terry Schlarb, Bettis’s girlfriend, said they had been arguing about a winning lottery ticket when she was “backhanded” across the face twice. Bettis had left before police arrived and was going back to Conway where he was taken into custody by the Conway Police Department. He was turned over to Maumelle and taken to the Pulaksi County Regional Detention Facility in Little Rock.

Delta Bryant, 30, Mayflower, was turned over to Maumelle Police by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office after they found a warrant out for her arrest on June 11. Bryant bonded out and released with a court date of Aug. 5.

Anthony Frazier, 34, Maumelle, was arrested on June 25 after a traffic stop for having a warrant out for his arrest. He was cited and released with a court date of Aug. 19.

Shirley Duggar, 62, Maumelle, turned herself in on June 24 for an active warrant. She was released with a court date of Aug. 24.
