Incidents reported to Maumelle police through Jan. 10:
Pulaski County 8th District Court: On Jan. 2, Trina Warner, 27, of North Little Rock was held in Pulaski County District Court when an active warrant from Maumelle for criminal contempt of court was found. Officer Justin Woods arrested Warner and charged her on that outstanding warrant.
501 Valencia Drive: On Dec. 24, Amanda Lynn Murillo, 29, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with 3rd degree Domestic Battering after police answered a call about a woman screaming at the apartment. Ramon Hernandez met police at the door and they handcuffed him and found Murillo in a bedroom with puffy eyes, a swollen and bloody lip, a bruised and swollen left wrist and a bruise on her left calf. Officer Jeremy Newlin said she was crying after an argument with Hernandez turned violent and Hernandez started hitting her. During the hour long fight, Murillo said she climbed out a window but he pulled her back into the apartment. She told police these type confrontations are common and she feared retaliation if she called police. Since Hernandez has multiple scratch marks on his face both parties were arrested.
100 Commercial Park Court: On Dec. 31, Chestin Leshawn Platt, 19, of Little Rock was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after police responded to a Highland Pointe Apartment’s Courtesy Officer, police officer Greg Roberts who said he had three males stopped after reports of three men allegedly smoking marijuana in front of an apartment. Officer Casey Canady said Jarvis Milton, Marcus Saxton and Platt were inside a vehicle that had a strong odor of marijuana. He said a search found 3.9 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag in the back of the passenger seat and another gram in a marijuana cigarette.
100 Commercial Park Court: On Dec. 31, Jarvis Dewan Milton, 19, of Maumelle was also charged with possession of marijuana in the incident above.
100 Commercial Park Court: On Dec. 31, Marcus A. Saxton, 19, of Little Rock was also charged with possession of marijuana in the same incident outlined above.
100 Millwood Court: On Dec. 31, Steven M. Baumer, 41, of Conway was arrested and charged with failure to appear and criminal contempt of court.
2002 Murphy Drive: On Dec. 30, Herbert Crossgrow, 21, of North Little Rock was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court after North Little Rock Police arrested him on the outstanding warrant then delivered him to Maumelle Police Headquarters.
2002 Murphy Drive: On Dec. 30, Felicia Derry, 22, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with failure to pay rent and or vacate property when she turned herself in.
2002 Murphy Drive: On Dec. 30, Melanie Lynne Kohrs, 31, of Austin was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court when she turned herself in on an outstanding warrant.
2002 Murphy Drive: On Dec. 30, Destiny Michelle Neeley, 20, of Sherwood was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court when she turned herself in.
Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office: On Dec. 30, Lametrius D. Morris, 18, of Conway was arrested by Faulkner County deputies when they discovered an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. Officer Chase Canady drove to Conway and picked up Morris.
Rolling Oaks Drive: On Dec. 29, Jeffrey Blake Leatherwood, 25, of North Little Rock was arrested and charged with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of theft of property and forgery after Officer Sterling Pruitt saw him walking through a Maumelle neighborhood and knew there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest in conjunction with a burglary.
801 Murphy Drive: On Dec. 28, Siremal Alexander told police her car keys had been stolen at the Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell at 20704 Arkansas Highway 365 North but the surveillance cameras at the business were not operational and no keys could be found.
