Incidents reported to Maumelle police through Jan. 4:

Arrests

Sheridan Police Department: On Jan. 2, Christopher Louis Lea, 28, of Carthage was arrested and charged with theft by receiving and police confiscated a $1,000 Beretta shotgun allegedly stolen from Shane McClary’s 2 Masters Place Cove home in Maumelle. Officer Jeremy Newlin, Sr. said he drove to Sheridan to pick up Lea and brought him back to Maumelle where he was formerly charged and taken to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.

100 Millwood Circle: On Dec. 28, Demario Dewayne Moore, 24, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court when he turned himself in. He was cited and released with a February 11 court date.

2002 Murphy Drive: On Dec. 26, Jacob Daniel Ralston, 23, of Maumelle was arrested when he turned himself in at the Maumelle Police Department on an outstanding warrant for criminal contempt of court. He was released with a court date.

501 Vallencia Drive: On Dec. 24, Ramon Hernandez, 22, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with third degree domestic battering after neighbors called 911 about a woman screaming in a nearby apartment. Officer Casey Canady said officers made contact with Hernandez whom they said had several visible scratch marks on his neck and arms. He told police his girlfriend had scratched him on his arms, neck and chest. Canady said the 29-year-old victim had two young juveniles with her and was uncooperative and refused to tell police what had happened, even though she had injuries to her wrist. Both parties were arrested, Canady said. The children were left with a neighbor at their mothers request.

100 Millwood Circle: On Dec. 23, Maumelle District Court probation officer Michael McNeil called Maumelle police for assistance in searching a vehicle. Jacob Daniel Ralston, 23, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal contempt of court. Officer Jeremy Newlin, Sr. said a search of the 2009 Saturn produced a multi-colored flower bag which contained a multi-colored glass marijuana pipe and a bag of marijuana. Elsewhere in the car, officers said they found a white pen pipe and Infinity cleanse pills.

7 Topaz Lane: On Dec. 22, Stephanie Louise White, 23, was arrested and charged with third degree domestic battering after police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at the home. Robert Stuckey, 21, White’s husband told police he and his wife had an altercation which became physical. Police said they found scratch marks on Stuckey’s face and back. They also said White had injuries from Stuckey allegedly pushing her down which injured her wrist. Both husband and wife were given a court date and released as well as a no contact order.

7 Topaz Lane: On Dec. 22, Clint Stuckey, 21, of Maumelle was also charged with Domestic Battering in the incident described above.

2002 Murphy Drive: On Dec. 20, Jose Herra-Balleza, 27, of North Little Rock was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Maumelle District Court by Arkansas State Troopers who brought him to Maumelle. He was given another court date and released.

Incidents

402 Edgewood Drive: On Dec. 26, Jeff Fuller reported an incident at his real estate office at 402 Edgewood Drive. Officer Sterling Pruitt said Fuller wanted to file a report about two alleged forgery incidents. Fuller told police his bookkeeper had allegedly been “forging business checks on two of his businesses.” One involved a $7,700 check from the Arkansas Gold and Diamond Exchange and a $2,234.57 check on a Jeff Fuller Homes account.
