Incidents reported to Maumelle police through March 29:

Arrests

550 Edgewood Drive: On March 20, Tremel Deshun Hamilton, 24, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with criminal trespass after police responded to City Hall about him allegedly snooping around the Senior Wellness Center. Arresting officer Johnathan Johnson reminded the man he had been given previous orders to not be on city property.

1 Fairplay Way: On March 20, Brandon Scott Bischoff, 18, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they received several calls about a group of men allegedly smoking marijuana at the Rolling Oaks Soccer Complex. Sgt. Dustin Ivey said after a search in which one of the men in the group admitted allegedly “smoking marijuana in the rest room.” According to Ivey, Bishoff said the three items police found — a marijuana bong, a marijuana pipe and a safe — were all his.

Lake Valencia: On March 20, Eddie Dyer, 31, of Little Rock was arrested and charged with failure to appear, criminal contempt and criminal conspiracy in an arrangement where Dyer allegedly agreed “to sell one ounce of marijuana for $110.” Detectives agreed to meet Dyer at the gazebo at Lake Valencia and then arrested him when he showed up but they found no marijuana on him or in his property. Police said Dyer told them he planned to “call a different person to bring the ounce of marijuana.” During processing police said they discovered Dyer had two outstanding warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay from Maumelle with a bail bond of $2,950. Dyer’s two cell phones were taken as evidence because they contained the text messages arranging the buy, police said.

100 Millwood Circle: On March 21, Christopher Hayes, 38, of Mayflower was arrested and charged with failure to appear by Faulkner County deputies who discovered an active Maumelle warrant for failure to appear. After processing Maumelle police took Hayes to the Pulaski County Regional Detention facility.

100 Millwood Circle: On March 22, Donovan Long, 38, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court when officer Jeremy Newlin Sr. served the active warrant on Long at his home.

Montpellier Drive and Deauville Drive: On March 23, Brett Allen Bisbee, 47, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with public intoxication after officer Jeremy Newlin, Sr, answered a call about a man wearing a hat walking down the road but when he arrived in the area, Newlin said he watched Bisbee cross the dangerous Maumelle Boulevard while “unsteady on his feet.” Bisbee told police he had not been drinking that day but he failed field sobriety tests at which time he said Bisbee admitted having three glasses of wine that afternoon. Bisbee allegedly told police he thought he was doing the “right thing” by walking to the store because he knew he had too much alcohol to drive.

100 Millwood Circle: On March 23, Wendell Hamilton, 53, of North Little Rock was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court when Faulkner County deputies arrested him on the Maumelle warrant and officers picked him up in Conway and brought him to Maumelle.

103 Diamond Pointe Drive: On March 24, Samuel James Bishop, 30, of Sherwood was arrested and charged with harassment, criminal mischief and criminal trespass when he turned himself in on an outstanding Maumelle warrant alleging he committed those offenses including breaking a glass door at a Maumelle residence.

Maumelle Boulevard and Montpellier Drive: On March 25, Xavier Carter, 24, of Lake Village was arrested and charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license and for having a headlight out. Officer Gregory Roberts said he stopped Carter for a broken headlight.

100 Millwood Circle: On March 26, Becca Joann Coleman, 31, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court when she turned herself in.

Maumelle Boulevard and Country Club Parkway: On March 22, Phillip David Burton was arrested on outstanding warrants from November 2012 for leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief when he turned himself in.

2002 Murphy Drive: On March 27, James Reed, 50, of North Little Rock was arrested by North Little Rock police on an outstanding Maumelle warrant for alleged criminal contempt of court.

Incidents

46 Norfork Drive: On March 23, Richard Owings, 63, of Maumelle alerted police that sometime during the night after he was asleep, someone had struck a street lamp and a blue driveway post. Police said they found skid marks, but no broken glass or car parts.

Arkansas Highway 365 North Shell Superstop: On March 26, officer Greg Roussie said he met with Nicole Okeke, 20, of Conway and Maya Minter, 18, of Conway who said they’d met a woman at the Shell Superstop to buy wigs from her, each paying her $205 and they haven’t received their wigs. Both had receipts and said they found her on Facebook and friends had recommended her.

1 Jeffrey Lane: On March 27, Valerie Baker, 54, of Conway called police to her Maumelle home about a burglary. She said she’d attended a funeral only to come home and find her padlock cut off her front gate and the sliding glass door to her home pried open. She said a $350 black .38 caliber Taurus handgun was stolen and another firearms safe was pried upon but not opened. Police said they found a cigarette pack on the floor with fingerprints on it that should lead them to a possible suspect.
