Werner hired as CEO

The Board of Directors of Family Service Agency recently hired a new Chief Executive Officer, Victor Werner, to succeed retiring Paul McGinnis.

McGinnis headed the agency from February 2013 and will retire at the end of June 2014.

Werner began working at Family Service Agency as Director of Behavioral Health Services in 1996. He left for about 5 years in 2008 to work at Little Rock Community Mental Health Center as Director of Crisis Services. He returned to Family Service Agency as Chief Operating Officer when McGinnis, the previous CFO was hired as CEO in February 2013.

Werner, who is a contributor to the Monitor, is the father of five children and 11 grandchildren. He has lived in Maumelle since 1995 with his wife, Pam, and son, Timothy. He has served as an Alderman on Maumelle City Council and is the current board president for The Maumelle Players, a local community theater group.
