Halloween events

Several Halloween events are scheduled for this week and next.

On Saturday Trunk or Treat will be held at Lake Willastein and it is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. It is set to last for two hours.

Across the way, the Jess Odom Community Center will again be a Haunted House and Carnival.

It is set to run from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. It will also be held on Halloween and will run at the same times.

Admission to the Haunted House is $5 a person and for more information, call 851-6990.

Campaign event set for Oct. 30

Maumelle attorney Bilenda Harris-Ritter will have a campaign kickoff on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

She is running for Justice of the Peace District 14 and serves both Maumelle and North Little Rock.

The event will start at 4:30 p.m. and be held at American Pie Pizza, 9709 Maumelle Blvd. It is scheduled to last until 6:30 p.m.
