Pulaski Technical College on Tuesday announced the hire of Ganelle Holman as the college’s chief development officer.
Holman, of Little Rock, has worked in the college’s Office of Development for the past four months as the events and volunteer manager. In her new role, she also will serve as the executive director of the Pulaski Technical College Foundation, which is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving agency for the college. Chartered as a non-profit organization for educational purposes, the foundation solicits and receives tax-deductible gifts and manages these gifts and bequests for the benefit of the college.
“It’s an honor to be a part of the PTC team and to work toward sustaining this very important part of economic development in our state,” Holman said.
Holman previously worked as the major gifts officer for the American Red Cross, Northwest Arkansas. Prior to that, she was the development coordinator for Our House in Little Rock. Holman has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a Master of Education in Secondary Education, both from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
“We could not operate as effectively as we do without the private support of our donors, and Ganelle is the perfect person to lead the fundraising efforts we need to move Pulaski Tech forward,” said Dr. Margaret Ellibee, college president.
Pulaski Technical College is the largest two-year college in Arkansas.
