North Little Rock man arrested with cocaine mustache

A North Little Rock man was arrested after Maumelle police responded to a call about a man asleep at the wheel of a running vehicle on Odom Boulevard South.

Officers Justin Woods, Jacob Johnson and Lt. Joe Poole said they found Jermaine Rashawn Hudson, 33, asleep at the wheel of a 1998 Cadillac Deville with a flat front tire and partially parked on the walkway.

Woods said when he first approached Hudson he had a “white powder on his upper lip and nose area.”

When asked, Woods said Hudson “informed him the powder was cocaine.” Police said they also found a $5 bill with cocaine in it rolled up in his pocket and a bag containing 3.2 grams of marijuana in his vehicle.

Hudson was charged with DWI, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and refusal to submit. He was taken to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.
