William Scott Doerhoff, PT, MS, GSC has been awarded the American Physical Therapy Association- Geriatric Section’s 2014 “Volunteers in Action Community Service Award”. The award is given each year to a Geriatric Section member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and contributions in community service.

Doerhoff is a 23-year resident of Maumelle, served on the City Council in 2005 and 2006, and is President of the Maumelle Heights Property Owners Association. He volunteers with a local health care clinic to provide pro bono health education and programs to senior citizens.

Doerhoff, a 1993 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas’ Physical Therapy program, is a 20-year practicing clinician and an appointee to the 2014 Specialization Academy of Content Experts (SACE) for American Physical Therapy Association -Geriatric Section.

Doerhoff is the owner and President of Integrated Health Services, Incorporated, a consulting and health facilities staffing company. As well, he proudly serves as a Senior Physical Therapist at Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System in Little Rock.

He and his wife Shannon have two sons, Will, a Senior at Catholic High School in Little Rock and Nicholas who attends Our Lady of the Holy Souls in Little Rock.
