Dear Maumelle Friends and Neighbors,
I apologize for the lateness of this “thank you” it was originally sent in September but was misplaced.
As most of you know our son Jon David Bruning was paralyzed in a diving accident July 6. Since that time we have been in 3 hospitals, Shepherds Rehab in Atlanta and are currently rehabilitating locally.
As you can imagine, this is every parents worst nightmare, we are often overwhelmed and heart broken, but we are also looking to God to provide and lead us down HIS path.
Since day one of the accident our friends, family, and Maumelle Community have lifted us up in so many ways I have lost count. There are not enough words to express our appreciation for all the ways you have loved us and taken care of us. We will be forever grateful to you all!
Many of you in the Maumelle Community helped organize and or attended the “Rally around JD”. Even though we were not able to be there, people were sending us pictures and updates of the event. It was nothing short of amazing the amount of people that attended in support of Jon David. I would like to give a special thank you to Neal Moore for organizing this event, so many more also were involved in the planning and implementing and I may never know about what all of you have done, but please know we appreciate you!
We have a long journey ahead, but you have made it easier with your support and love. We are forever grateful!
Love to you all!
Dave, Jacki, Bobby and Jon David Bruning
