Keeping the bad guys out

Rillo Badiko, right, and Jose Cisneros, center, put the finishing touches on construction of a new steel fence around the campus of Academics Plus Charter School in Maumelle as Edvin Perez, left, supervises. All three are employees of Conway-based Legacy Fencing, who installed the 1,400-feet fence at a cost of $39,900. Executive Director Rob McGill said the fence is designed to provide extra security at the school so that people can no longer walk through the campus. He said people have used that lot as a shortcut for so many years people just kept popping up who didn’t belong there.(Photo by Bill Lawson)
