CARTI Ragin’ Cajun Bash to be April 10

Ticket sales are underway for the 10th annual CARTI Ragin’ Cajun Bash, a Louisiana-themed fundraiser presented by IBERIABANK and benefiting CARTI, scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. on April 10 at the River Market Pavilions in downtown Little Rock.

“Spring is here, and we are looking forward to enjoying the nice weather outdoors and letting the good times roll again at the CARTI Ragin’ Cajun Bash,” said Leslie Gordy, CARTI Foundation special events coordinator in a release.

The CARTI Ragin’ Cajun Bash features a Louisiana-style crawfish boil with all the trimmings, complete with food, fun and dancing to live, authentic Cajun music by Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Roadrunners.

“We are bringing the bayou to the banks of the Arkansas River again this year as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the CARTI Ragin’ Cajun Bash,” Gordy said. “It’s a cool, casual event designed to give people a little taste of Cajun country. Even if you don’t care for crawfish, we offer red beans and rice, gumbo and Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits will be on hand serving Louisiana-style fried chicken.”

General admission tickets for the event are $45 each in advance or $50 each at the door. Tickets can be purchased at or by calling 296-3406.

Last year, approximately 1,600 people attended the CARTI Ragin’ Cajun Bash, raising a record-setting single-year amount of more than $105,000.
