Amateur astronomers and photographers around Arkansas looked up to the sky early Tuesday morning for a rare look at a “Blood Moon.”

The phenomena, also known as a tetrad, was captured by Cabot Star-Herald Editor Mark Buffalo in the skies above Lonoke County at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Blood Moon will be back on Oct. 8 of this year and April 4 and Sept. 28 of 2015. It won’t be return until 2032.
