Santa swings through Maumelle

This year’s Christmas in Maumelle was quite a bit different than the 2012 Christmas with 10 inches of snow that impacted everyone.

Maumelle’s first responders and public works crews didn’t have to work overtime dealing with the snow.

They were able to stay snugly in their homes and their own beds for the night.

Police said it was one of the quietest Christmas’ on record, especially compared to last year. They expressed hope that New Year’s celebrations would be just as safe.

Without all the snow photos this year, here’s a peak inside Christmas at the Dean household. Jennifer Dean shared these photos of the Dean youngsters enjoying their Christmas presents that Santa left them.
