Christian Life Church, 701 Murphy Drive: Transportation is available. Sunday services are held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday Bible study is at 7:30 p.m. October 13 there will be a picnic in the park following morning services. Oct. 20 is All Nations Missions Sunday. First Baptist Church of Maumelle,Corner of Maumelle Blvd and Millwood Circle: Sunday school begins at 9 a.m., and Sunday morning worship at 10:15 a.m., evening worship is at 5 p.m. in the main sanctuary. You are invited to participate in the 5 p.m. Wednesday evening activities beginning with a fellowship meal followed by various youth programs and adult Bible studies. First United Methodist Church of Maumelle, 1201 Edgewood Drive: Contemporary worship is at 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. At 9:30 a.m., there is an encounter worship, and at 11 a.m., traditional worship. For more information, go to www.fumcmaumelle.org.

Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, 449 Millwood Circle, Maumelle, Bible studies classes, including classes for children, youth and young adult, are held each Sunday morning at 9:20 a.m. A mid-week class, studying Acts, for members and friends is held each Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mid-week Teens meet on Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. Sunday services begin at 8 a.m. with a traditional service, which includes the Lutheran liturgy, a blended service follows at 10:30 a.m.

Be sure to mark your calendar and plan to attend Shepherd of Peace’s Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 3-5 p.m. There will be games, bounce houses, cupcake walks, and of course, candy!

Shepherd of Peace’s Mother’s Day Out, Shepherd’s Care, is available each Tuesday and Thursday during the PCSSD school calendar year from 9:05 a.m.- 2 p.m. The staff is trained in CPR and has years of experience working with pre-school age children.
