First Baptist Church of Maumelle, Corner of Maumelle Blvd and Millwood Circle: Vacation Bible School registration is underway. Colossal Coaster World for children ages 3 through 5 will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Monday June 24-Friday, June 28 each evening. “Facing fear, trusting God” with biblical truths from 2 Timothy 1:7 is the emphasis through Bible study, music, games, and crafts.

Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. for all age groups. Evening worship is at 5 p.m. Sundays in the main sanctuary. You are invited to participate in the 5 p.m. Wednesday evening activities beginning with a fellowship meal followed by various youth programs and adult Bible studies. First United Methodist Church of Maumelle, 1201 Edgewood Drive: Contemporary worship is at 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. At 9:30 a.m., there is an encounter worship, and at 11 a.m., traditional worship. For more information, go online to www.fumcmaumelle.org.

Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, 449 Millwood Circle, Maumelle:Vacation Bible School Tell it on the Mountain, will be held July 14-18. Registration can be done online by visiting shepeace.com.

The church invites you to Bible studies they offer each Sunday morning at 9:20 a.m., and others throughout the week. A mid-week Bible study is available each Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and currently studying the prophets of the Old Testament. Each Thursday at 6 p.m., the teens meet in the youth room where they discuss topics concerning their lives and what it means to be a young Christian in the world today.

The church Mother’s Day Out care runs each Tuesday and Thursday during the school calendar. The times are 9:05 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is currently enrolling for the fall term. The staff is trained in CPR and has years of experience working with pre-school age children.
