First Baptist Church of Maumelle, Corner of Maumelle Blvd and Millwood Circle: The pastor Tony Auxier will present a series of sermons at 10:15 a.m. from Ephesians about Christ and his relationship with his people during morning worship. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. for all age groups. The 5 p.m. Sunday worship hour messages will be the Psalms written by David while Saul was persecuting him. You are invited to participate in the 5 p.m. Wednesday evening activities beginning with a fellowship meal followed by various youth programs and adult Bible studies. First United Methodist Church of Maumelle, 1201 Edgewood Drive: Contemporary worship is at 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. At 9:30 a.m., there is an encounter worship, and at 11 a.m., traditional worship. For more information, go online to www.fumcmaumelle.org.

Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, 449 Millwood Circle, Maumelle: The church invites you Bible studies that are held at 9:20 a.m., every Sunday morning but also have other classes throughout the week. A mid-week Bible study is available from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., each Thursday and studying on the prophets of the Old Testament. Also, at 6 p.m., the teens meet in the youth room where they discuss topics concerning their lives and what it means to be a young Christian today. A tradition service which includes the Lutheran liturgy, is at 8 a.m., each Sunday and at 10:30 a.m., a blended service.

The Shepherd of Peace’s Mother’s Day Out runs each Tuesday and Thursday at 9:05 a.m. to 2 p.m., during the school calendar. They are currently enrolling for the fall term.
