First Baptist Church of Maumelle, 100 Valencia Drive: The women of Maumelle and surrounding area are invited to participate in a Bible Study at 9:30 a.m., by Beth Moore. “Breaking Free” of anything that hinders us from attaining and abundant and effective Spirit-filled life that God has planned for us is taken from the Book of Isaiah. Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, 449 Millwood Circle, Maumelle: The church invites you to attend their Ash Wednesday Worship Service at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13. You are also welcome to any of the Bible studies, offered at various Bible classes at 9:20 a.m., every Sunday morning, but also have other classes through out the week. A mid-week Bible study is available from 10:30 -11:30 a.m., each Thursday. This study delves into a variety of topics, but they are currently focusing on the book of Ephesians. Additionally, each Thursday at 6 p.m., the teens meet in the youth room where they discuss topics concerning their lives and what it means to be a young Christian in the world today.
You are encouraged to join the church during the regular services each Sunday. A tradition service, which includes the Lutheran liturgy, is held each Sunday at 8 a.m., a blended service at 10:30 a.m., and a family Bible hour classes for all ages at 9:20 a.m.

Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock: The women’s conference “Women of Grace,” will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, with Johnnette Benkovic at the church. She will guide you on a journey to discover femininity, holiness of life, and woman’s purpose and mission in the world today. Cost will be $30 and will include lunch.
The confirmation class will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 10. The topic will be “The Spirit, My Faith and Me,” that will meet in the church.
