The Jacksonville Red Devils hit the track at the Vilonia Eagle Relays and showed off their speed at the meet hosted at Beebe High School.
Jacksonville had top ten finishes in the shorter distance races and were especially strong in the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump.
Daniel Curry had a big day for the Red Devils, giving Jacksonville their lone first place finish on the day. Curry took first in the High Jump and fourth in the 200m Dash.
Tresean Lambert had a second place finish in the Triple Jump and also took ninth in the 100m Dash.
Damon Thomas had a top five finish, taking fourth in the Long Jump. In the 110m High Hurdles, Trebeck Prick finished ninth, while Josh Alcorn took tenth place.
Jacksonville looked good in all of the relay races in the meet. The Red Devils finished second in the 4x100m Relay, took fifth in the 4x400m Relay and finished eighth in the 4x800m Relay.
The Red Devils finished in eighth place on the boys side of the meet. Vilonia easily outdistanced Forrest City to win the meet.
The Lady Red Devils didn’t compete in the meet.
