The Lady Red Devils took out a few frustrations on the Sylvan Hills Lady Bears during a 66-26 win on senior night in the Devil’s Den.

Jacksonville didn’t leave anything to chance on Tuesday, running away with a massive lead early on, and never looking back.

Sylvan Hills has suffered several setbacks this season, resulting in several freshmen being called up to play for the senior high.

Jacksonville used the opportunity to spread the wealth around, with ten Lady Devils scoring in the win.

Tiffany Smith made five three-pointers to lead all scorers with 15 points, including 12 in the first half. Markela Bryles was next with 12 points. Meme Alcorn scored all nine of her points in the first half.

Ashli Evans scored seven points, while Antrice McCoy had six and Sacha Richardson scored five. Breanna Banks, Chamille Williams, Alexis James and Jerica Hardaway each added two points.

Sylvan Hills was led by Ashley Neasley and Sa’Mya Farmer with five points each.

Jacksonville finishes their regular season as the No. 3 from the 5A-Central. The Lady Red Devils will play the No. 2 out of the South in the 5A State Tournament at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Alma.
