Sept. 1

Michael Thomas, 41, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of theft of property (motor vehicle) after police responded to 306 S. Loop Road, Apt. C3, in reference to a stolen vehicle report.

Sept. 3

Charlie Woolsey, 42, of Searcy was arrested on charges of DWI and unsafe driving after police observed someone driving a 2006 Nissan erratically along the 500 block of South James Street.

Sept. 4

James Brewer, 43, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police were called to 2613 E. Cofelt Road, Lot 90, in reference to an intoxicated person on the premises.

Jimmy Bishop, 31, of McRae was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing government operations and criminal impersonation after police conducted a traffic stop along the 800 block of South Oak Street. After being questioned by police, he told them his name was Mathew Bishop.

Jeremy McClendon, 22, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police responded to the 400 block of Vine Street after police received a report of someone yelling in the area.

Karel Meyer, 22, of Cabot was arrested on a charge of DWI after police responded to Chili’s, 1800 W. Main St., for a possible intoxicated person in the parking lot.

Stephan Walker, 41, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of second-degree domestic battery after police were called to 1014 Church St. in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Sept. 5

James Junior, 23, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police performed a traffic stop at 950 Military Road due to the vehicle having a defective brake light.
