James Kenley Jr., 48, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battery after police were dispatched to North Metro Hospital on Marshall Road in reference to a possible aggravated assault. Upon arrival, police made contact with Taylor Kenley in Room Two of the Emergency Room. She told police James, who is her father, and she were arguing about her coming home too late from the mall. She told police that Kenley drug his daughter by the hair from the kitchen to the bedroom, through her on the bed and began hitting her. Taylor said she was unsure if her father used a closed or open hand but police observed bruises on her leg. James Jr. then began shoving items off a dresser and when he threw a wire shelf rack, it struck his daughter. Police observed lacerations on Taylor’s forehead and knee.

Lisa Sauerwin, 25, of Cabot was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to 1800 John Harden Drive in reference to reported drug activity. Police received a call that there was drug activity going on in one of the rooms at the Econo Lodge. Upon arrival, police found several hypodermic needles inside of an open purse and insulin needle caps in the bathroom area.

Courtney Smith, 33, of Little Rock was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and careless and prohibited driving after police conducted a traffic stop along the 1800 block of West Main Street following an accident. He told police he was in pain so he was taken to North Metro Hospital. He reported they could smell an odor of what appeared to be alcohol coming from her person. She was asked to take a breathylzer test but told police she could not blow into the machine due to experiencing pain.

Keon Knight, 19, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana after police stopped his vehicle along the 100 block of West Avenue because the driver was not wearing a seat belt. Upon stopping the vehicle, police could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside. Police were advised there was marijuana inside one of Knight’s pockets along with in the ashtray. He was taken to the city police department for processing.

Kallie Goodman, 20, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after police were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in reference to a shoplifter in custody in the loss prevention office. According to the police report, she had concealed numerous items totaling $32 inside her purse and tried to leave the store without paying for them.

Leon Robinson, 48, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault on a family member after police responded to 110 Smart St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, police made contact with Cynthia Goodman who said scratches were found on her neck and hand.
