John Jefferson, 43, of Ward was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) after police stopped the vehicle he was driving along the 1600 block of South Highway 161 because it had no license plate.

Jaylon Ware, 17, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, loitering and fleeing after police observed her walking in the ditch line coming from Barfield Street and entering Chapel Ridge Apartments.

Ashley Thompson, 32 of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and loitering after police were dispatched to Flash Market on John Harden Drive in reference to a report of someone loitering.

Amber Earnest, 25, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine after police conducted a traffic stop along the 200 block of Municipal Drive because the motorist did not use a turn signal when turning.
