Jan. 23

Derrick Norris, 41, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of third-degree domestic battery and terroristic threatening after police were dispatched to 11 Devon Lane in reference to a physical domestic disturbance.

Jan. 24

Steven Smith, 33, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a weapon after police observed someone driving a 2004 Buick passenger vehicle with a defective license plate light along the 600 block of West Main Street.

Crystle Dutcher, 21, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of theft of property after police responded to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, in reference to a theft report.

Kaitlyn Hale, 18, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of theft of property after police responded to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, in reference to a theft report.

Willie Dortch, 29, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of violation of a protective order and terroristic threatening after police were dispatched to 405 Smart St. in reference to someone violating a no contact order and terroristic threatening.

Xezerion McPhearson, 19, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited articles in a correctional facility (narcotics) after police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Union Street because someone had a defective headlight.

Michael Birts, 22, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license after police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Union Street because someone had a defective headlight.

Briana Block, 22, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia after police conducted a traffic stop along the 2200 block of North Loop Road after police observed the vehicle had an inoperative license plate light.
