Arrests

Oct. 13

Kameron Cosen, 26, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of fleeing, possession of a controlled substance and obstructing governmental operations after police observed a man walking along the 1000 block of South First Street who matched the description of a man wanted at a Jacksonville motel for trespassing. Police advised him he was wanted for a parole warrant.

Casey Davis, 37, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of DWI, driving with a suspended license and unsafe driving after police responded to the 2200 block of North First Street regarding a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries.

Upon arrival, officers observed a blue Avenger southbound in the left hand turn lane that was behind a tan Kia vehicle that was also headed southbound. Davis said the accident was his fault because he was drunk. The other driver, Cecil Kiester, told police that Davis’ vehicle rear-ended him and that his girlfriend, Stephanie Thomas, was complaining of right shoulder pain. The city fire department responded and transported Thomas to North Metro Hospital in Jacksonville.
