Feb. 15

Lois Winn, 62, of Austin was arrested on a charge of DWI after police conducted a drive through at Sensations Gentlemen’s Club and observed a dog in a vehicle at 12:53 a.m. While he was checking on the dog he heard yelling in the front parking lot of 6613 Harden Drive. The officer went to investigate the yelling and observed a Mitsubishi Eclipse in a ditch across the street from Hardrider. Police made contact with the driver of the vehicle who was sitting behind the steering wheel with the keys in the ignition. While police were speaking to Winn, the driver, they observed a strong smell of intoxicants coming from her breath and her speech was slurred.

Feb. 14

Derek Troy, 32, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Pike Avenue that turned onto North Avenue and failed to use a turn signal.

Darrick Gaston, 20, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of obstructing governmental operations after police responded to his home at 1310 Smithwick Drive, Apt. 183, in regards to threats.

Christopher Glover, 23, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of third-degree battery after police responded to 900 Madden Road, Apt. D2, in reference to a civil matter/child custody issue.

Christiopher Yawn, 19, of Romance was arrested on charges of fleeing and theft of property (shoplifting) after police responded to the area of the Citgo Station on John Harden Road in reference to a shoplifter who fled from the Wal-Mart Supercenter on John Harden Drive.

Feb. 20

Joseph Morant, 21, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after police conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 800 block of Sorrells Road at Grace Street when a vehicle traveling westbound.

Feb. 21

Stephanie Aceedo-Garcia, 21, of Beebe was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana after police observed a passenger vehicle turn off Corbin Street onto JP Wright Loop and fail to use a turn signal.

Vernon Washington, 25, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of second-degree domestic battery, false imprisonment and terroristic threatening after police responded to 113 North Avenue because there was a report of an aggravated assault.

Feb. 22

Paul King, 36, of Cabot was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police received a call from an employee of Cranbury Suites, 2110 John Harden Road, about possible narcotic activity taking place in the area due to the amount of traffic. Police made the arrest in Room 321.

Chaz Hubbart-Rudd, 23, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of theft by receiving, fictitious tags and expired tags after police observed a red Toyota truck traveling southbound on South Road with an expired tag.

Charles McCosh, 31, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police were patrolling the 5800 block of J.P. White Drive and noticed a man walking north who stumbled into a ditch, almost falling toward the roadway.

Artez Murrel, 21, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana after police saw a Ford Taurus headed eastbound on Military Road with flashing brake lights while the vehicle was being operated.

Feb. 23

Kendall Bazile, 45, of New Orleans was arrested on charges of criminal attempt to commit a burglary and first degree criminal mischief after police responded to 1490 Vanderburn Road due to a report of a fleeing suspect.

Michael Smith, 36, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) after police conducted a traffic stop because the driver was not wearing his seat belt as he was driving at 1212 John Harden Drive.

Eddie Berry, 34, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia after police observed someone make a left turn from South Oak Street without using a turn signal.

Christopher Tis, 40, of Cabot was arrested on charges of third-degree assault on a family member, and criminal attempt to commit burglary after police were dispatched to 109 Shawnee Place in reference to a physical disturbance.

Jimmy Cross, 28, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone) after police stopped his vehicle on James Street because his vehicle had a defective headlight.

Feb. 24

Jacob Watson, 33, of Beebe was arrested on charges of DWI and fleeing after police observed him driving 45 mph headed eastbound on John Harden Drive where the speed limit is 35 mph.

William McClellan, 51, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of obstructing governmental operations after police attempted to serve warrants at 2613 E. Coffelt Road, Lot 16.

Mary Sauerwin, 28, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of residential burglary, third-degree domestic battery and second degree criminal mischief after police responded to a report of a domestic in progress at 820 S. Oak St.
