Jan. 16

James Laird, 21, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), possession of a controlled substance (Xanex) and possession of drug paraphernalia after detectives went to his home at 1230 Commons Drive in reference to a drug complaint.

Gregory Stricklen, 23, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of second-degree forgery and obstructing government operations after police observed someone driving a maroon Cadillac on J.P. White Drive but the registration returned to the license plate belonging to a blue Chevrolet pickup truck.

Mattie Harris, 40, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of DWI after police observed someone driving a 2012 Dodge Charger where its tires had driven off the white line.

Jan. 17

Abraham Kasses, 34, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of second-degree battery after police responded to 2221 W. Main St. where there was a fight.

Amer Kassees, 33, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of second-degree battery after police responded to 2221 W. Main St. where there was a fight.

Timothy Groves, 23, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, because they had received a report of a shoplifter in custody there.

Jan. 18

Demetrius Williams, 21, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of fleeing, first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, expired tags and no child restraint after police saw the vehicle he was driving on Stevenson Road had tags that expired in 2012.

William German, 38, of Conway was arrested on charges of DWI, driving with a suspended driver’s license and careless/prohibited driving after police responded to a call at 2650 John Harden Drive in reference to a single-vehicle accident in which the car struck a sign.

Eric Waddell, 51, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of criminal trespass, public intoxication and theft of property (shoplifting) after police were dispatched to Knight’s Grocery Store, 315 S. James St., in reference to a report that he was in a verbal altercation with one of the store’s loss prevention officers.

Aaron Brown, 19, of Little Rock was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, in reference to a shoplifter in custody.

Jan. 19

Tina Pace, 34, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of forgery, obstructing governmental operations and no proof of insurance after police were patrolling the 4000 block of North First Street and saw that she had a broken tail light.

Donald Thompson, 49, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of DWI after police responded to the front gate of Little Rock Air Force Base, 100 Vandenberg Drive, in reference to a possible drunk driver.

Venda Ripka, 53, of England was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, because they had received a report of a shoplifter in custody there.

Cameron Stoneking, 20, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after police responded to 100 Vandenberg Drive at the Little Rock Air Force Base gate in reference to a person possibly in possession of marijuana.

Jan. 22

Leeotis McKenzie, 27, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of second-degree assault on a family member after police responded to a domestic disturbance at 207 S. Hospital Road.

Christina Romine, 31, of Conway was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, because they had received a report of a shoplifter in custody there.

Joe Thompson III, 32, of Vilonia was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, because they had received a report of a shoplifter in custody there.

Charles Whitfield, 40, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of violation of a protection order operations after police responded to 803 S. Redmond Road, Apt. 9, in reference to a trespassing report.

Joshua Caine, 28, of Searcy was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, because they had received a report of a shoplifter in custody there.

Nathan Caine, 31, of Searcy was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, because they had received a report of a shoplifter in custody there.

Jeremy Cain, 30, of Searcy was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, because they had received a report of a shoplifter in custody there.

Christopher Kelly, 25, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of carrying a weapon, possession of marijuana and obstructing government operations at Buck’s Country Store, 1605 J.P. Wright Loop Road.

Latoya Whitfield, 28, of Alexander was arrested on a charge of obstructing government operations after police responded to 803 S. Redmond Road, Apt. 9, in reference to a trespassing report.
