Aug. 20

Aleshia Roberts, 39, of Cabot was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after loss prevention officers at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, called the Jacksonville City Police Department, saying she had concealed items without paying for them.

Christen Linn, 31, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police responded to a domestic call at 107 Roosevelt Road.

Shawn Mason, 22, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called the scene of a domestic disturbance at 200 Crestview Road, Apt. 22.

Michael Lawler, 25, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of fleeing, leaving the scene of an accident, no driver’s license and no insurance after police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at 100 Veteran’s Circle.

Latoyia Wallace, 38, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after loss prevention officers at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, reported she had tried to leave the store without paying for $297.08 worth of items she had concealed.

Jennifer Yearber, 38, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after loss prevention officers at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, reported she had tried to leave the store without paying for some light bulbs and Red Bull.

Aug. 19

Nicholas Minton, 18, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of obstructing government operations after police were called to the BP Station, 3701 N. 1st St., because a man kept asking for money from customers.

Jeremy Farr, 25, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of obstructing government operations after he went into a construction site after hours at 1410 Marshall Road and gave police a false name when asked by police to tell them who he was.

Aug. 18

Gary Jackson, 49, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after a resident on South Eastern Street said a man with a rake came to his house several times during the day and asked if he could rake his leaves.

Olivia Harris, 18, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after loss prevention officers at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, reported she had tried to leave the store without paying for $17.83 worth of curtains.

Lysia Coats, 18, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after loss prevention officers at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, reported she had tried to leave the store without paying for $52.69 worth of items from the women’s department.

Anjuan Thomas, 21, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) after police stopped his vehicle while he was driving his four-door passenger car along the 1800 block of Graham Road and changed lanes without signaling.

Michael Woodall, 31, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of DWI and improper turn after police stopped him along the 8000 block of N. 1st St.

London Banks, 40, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of DWI, refusing to take a field sobriety test and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) after police stopped his vehicle along the 8500 block of Highway 161 South because he had passed a sobriety checkpoint.

Joe Carrigan, 34, of Cabot was arrested on a charge of DWI after he had passed a sobriety checkpoint. He told police had had drank a few beers.

Jose Ardon-Lopez, 18, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of DUI, no driver’s license and no proof of insurance after police stopped him at a sobriety checkpoint at 8600 Highway 161 South. Lopez told police had had left a bar where he had had a few beers.

Richard Wolkey, 36, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of second-degree battery and public intoxication after police had been called to the scene of three males fighting in the area of 2613 E. Coffelt Road, Lot 24.

Aug. 17

Williams Walker, 38, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of DWI Second, driving with a suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance after police observed him headed southbound along the 2000 block of John Harden Drive and not wearing his seatbelt.

George Gjestvang, 51, of Little Rock was arrested on charges of DWI Second and driving without an interlock device after police stopped his vehicle along the 300 block of West Valentine Drive. Police said he had a strong odor of intoxicants and had trouble maintaining his balance.

Keith Hunter, 18, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after loss prevention officers at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, reported he left the store without paying for merchandise he took. He was apprehended after he fled the scene on foot and was caught in the driveway of Arkansas Bank & Trust, 501 JP Wright Loop Road.

Curtis Riggs, 58, of Little Rock, was arrested on a charge of robbery after police said he tried to leave the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2000 John Harden Drive, without paying for two television converters and two queen-sized bed sheets, all of which was valued at $239.26.

Aug. 16

Curtis Easter, 45, of North Little Rock was arrested on third-degree assault on a family member after police were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance at 1600 Highway 161 South.

Rashan Shead, 34, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to respond to a report of a man being held against his will in a vehicle located in the area of Highway 294 near Highway 161 South.
