Anthony Recine, 23, of the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville was arrested on charges Driving While Intoxicated, driving left of center, failure to register vehicle and fictitious tags after police were driving southbound on John Harden Drive and observed a vehicle headed northbound crossing the double yellow line. According to the police report, the motorist corrected himself around the 7100 block of John Harden. As the vehicle passed the police cruiser, it crossed the double line a second time and almost resulted in a collision with the police cruiser. Police turned their cruiser around and drove northbound on John Harden to following the vehicle starting along the 7200 block. Police then observed the vehicle cross the double yellow line a third time and pulled it over along the 7600 block.

Police made contact with the motorist later identified as Recine. While speaking with him, police reported they could smell the odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle. He also had trouble forming complete sentences and was unable to focus on more than one task without the officer repeating the question or task to him. Recine’s eyes were filled with water and his hands were shaking as the officer spoke with him, according to the police report. After a computer check, the license plate being displayed on the vehicle belonged to a silver Hyundai Elantra but he was driving a gray 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Police reported he tested 0.157 for his certified portable Breathalyzer test.

Orlando Ivey, 46, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battery responded to 130 Union St. in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers made contact with Angela Sease who stated she came home and found Ivey at her house. According to the police report, Ivey began arguing with her and then he grabbed her by the arms and pushed her. He then ran into and took a laptop and then fled the scene. Police then contacted Ivey by phone and he came back to the house with the laptop where he was arrested on the domestic battery charge.

Sherman Lewis, 34, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of DWI after police responded to Bucks’, 1605 J.P. White Loop Road, in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Police made contact with him, who was driving a 2006 Chevy Impala. Police observed Lewis being loud and disorderly, not following the directions of police. He was observed with glassy bloodshot eyes and officers reported they could smell the odor of intoxicants on his breath. “Lewis kept stating you know who I am, you got me,” states the police report. Officers reported they conducted a traffic with Lewis because he was following a vehicle close to the 1000 block of Military Road and Lewis’ vehicle did not have an operating license plate light.

Lareina Windemaker, 29, of Ward was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police responded to 1920 W. Main St. to assist another officer at a traffic stop. Windemaker was observed sitting inside the vehicle with her foot on the brake pedal while it was running. Officers then asked Windemaker to exit the vehicle. While speaking with him, police reported they could smell intoxicants on her person as well as observing bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Officers tried to administer a portable breath test but she refused.
