Leading Ladies program to sponsor workshop Saturday

The Jacksonville High School Leading Ladies mentoring program is hosting a special self-esteem working at the Nixon Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The event is being called “A Woman’s Worth.

The event aims to develop and facilitate self-esteem, self-worth, and self-awareness within the young ladies. The day’s events will include lessons on inner beauty, positive body image, stylish dressing techniques, effective make-up application, and much more. Group facilitators and guest speakers include Jacksonville High School alumnus and style blogger Ebony Read, Clinton School attendee and community liaison Sylvia Tran, former Little Rock model Mimi Lee, and Etniq Cosmetics’ chemist and owner Leah Patterson. Dillard’s (Clinique & MAC counters) and Sephora provide additional support through complimentary gifts for our participants.
