School’s Out Celebration
School will be out soon and we’re having a party! Grab your swim suits, towels & friends and head to Splash Zone for an evening swim on Friday, May 23. Water Park admission is $5, slides are free. Kick your summer off with a Splash. Must be 48” or taller to ride the slides. Concessions available. Handicap accessible. Call (501) 982-4171 or visit www.cityofjacksonville.net for more information. The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. at 201 Martin St., Jacksonville.
Splash Zone Season Opening
Summer fun starts Memorial weekend, May 24-26, at Splash Zone. Jacksonville’s water park features a plunge pool with two water slides, a water tunnel, the umbrella-shaped Rain Drop and Dew Drop water showers and the kids-only Tea Cup. Concessions available. Handicap accessible. Hours are Monday – Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and holidays Noon to 6 p.m. Park admission is $5, $1 for slides. 5th Annual Mr. & Miss Pool Side Cutie Contest
Register now for the 5th Annual Mr. & Miss Pool Side Cutie Contest at Splash Zone (if rain, Jacksonville Community Center) on Saturday, June 14. The contest is for girls ages Infant to 6 years old & boys ages Infant to 3 years old. Entry fee is $20 per child. $1 Admission for spectators. Certificates will be awarded to each child.
Winners will be guests at the Jacksonville FestiVille Sept. 27. Entry forms can be found at Jacksonville Community Center, Martin Street Youth Center, and on line at www.cityofjacksonville.net.
