Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Road, North Little Rock: The Advent Sermon Series, “Do you see what I see?,” a look at the presence of peace, hope, joy, and love, begins Sunday and will conclude with a candlelight Christmas Eve services at 6 and 10 p.m. on Dec. 24. White sacks will be distributed this Sunday for the church’s White Christmas Sunday to be held on Dec. 7. Each family is asked to fill one sack with non-perishable food to donate to the Gardner Food Pantry. Throughout the month of December, the church will participate in the Salvation Army Stocking Drive.
